Sheldon Pereira was born in Bahrain, and moved to Canada with his family in 1996. He moved to Waterloo by way of the GTA to attend Wilfrid Laurier University, fell in love with the community, and has never left. He now works at Laurier in the Office of the President and Vice-Chancellor, and is actively engaged with the Waterloo region community.
Sheldon and his wife Sandy live in west Waterloo. On weekends, you are likely find them puttering at St. Jacob’s Market or spending much of their free time walking, biking, cooking and gardening.
Sheldon will be defending “No Great Mischief” by Alistair MacLeod.
