R.J. Johnston is a professional writer, performer, director, certified auctioneer and local radio personality with over 13,000 hours of live radio under his belt at Waterloo Region’s FM 98.5 CKWR. He has also produced and appeared in countless stage shows for children and adults alike. Both as a soloist and through his group, “The Rando Bando”, he remains a popular host with a number of local charitable organizations.

A lifelong movie buff, he can also be seen in some of the late 20th century’s most high profile films. Favourite appearances include: “Silent and slightly blurry bar patron” in “54” — with Mike Myers (1998), “Smoking ringside reporter” in “The Hurricane” — with Denzel Washington (1999) and “Unseen limo driver” in “X-Men” — with Hugh Jackman (2000).

R.J. will be defending “Mythos : the Greek myths retold” by Stephen Fry
